We really squeezed in the IPO2 and it showed in our performance. The biggest error was me trying to do a side transport after the escape instead of a back transport. Note to self: back transport, attack, side transport, THEN check out and heel up-field. oy, vey.
We also still have a lot more work to do with discipline and control in tracking and obedience. More obedience to the track, more discipline with retrieves. Cash really loves the dumbbells, and his bulldog flag flies high with them. It's entertaining to spectators, not so much as his handler.
I am very proud of all that Cash has accomplished. I only really started training him for IPO in 2012, and consistently/seriously in 2013. He's a clear dog with a lot of heart and spirit, which makes training a fun adventure.
Dezzy is enjoying retired life! Well, sorta. She needs another job to do, and that's on our agenda for 2016. We are moving to a house with a yard, so will have more room to train at home soon! 2016 will be the year of Meatball, IPO3! Cash also has a couple of breedings lined up. Stay tuned to hear more about that!
